The green transition in Norrbotten attracts big actors in different areas. Now it is time for the communication industry to get an exciting new establishment.
– It is a perfect timing for us, we have been looking at Luleå and Norrbotten for a long time, but we have now found the right shapes to settle down in, says Anna Grönlund, CEO for Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.
Hallvarsson & Halvarsson is one of Swedens biggest strategic communication advisors in the areas of public affairs, financial communication, sustainability, and PR. An establishment in Luleå is a statement – Norrbotten is hot.
– Yes, it is an incredible amount of exciting things that is happening here. It feels like the rest of Sweden are standing still in comparison. We have been working with companies and organizations in the northern part of Sweden for a long time, but we are now intensifying our existing partnerships, and new customers are on the horizon, says Anna Grönlund.

The establishment happens in collaboration with the communication agency Vinter which has had a strong foothold in Norrbotten for almost 40 years.
– Yes, you could say that we know Norrbotten. We work or have worked with virtually all major players in the region and we have had a good collaboration with Hallvarsson & Halvarsson since before. Their expertise in, for example, public affairs and PR is a very good complement to us, says Helena Eriksson, CEO of Vinter.
– That we are now taking another step closer to each other feels completely natural. Me and Anna have also known each other for over 20 years, she comes from Kiruna and has lived and worked in Luleå for many years. She has been active in municipal politics in Kiruna and Luleå, she has also been a member of parliament for Norrbotten. A very competent person for whom I have great respect,” says Magnus Ahlqvist, creative director and partner at Vinter.
In short, the collaboration means that the companies’ customers have access to more competences and contact areas. Together the agencies simply become a stronger offer.
– What is so unique about Norrbotten and Västerbotten is that it happens so concentrated. Sure, Norrbotten is a quarter of Sweden’s area, but what happens here happens for a reason. Here there is a good climate to develop new businesses, and that will we also do together,” Anna concludes.
